Sun Vegas Casino Review
The people behind Sun Bingo have expanded the site’s gaming possibilities with its own new Vegas Casino site. Combining the best slots and live games, one would hope it lives up to the excitement that Sun Bingo has offered for over a decade. It’s worth differentiating that the Vegas site is separate to the Sun Bingo site which has its own Casino section.
Sign-up at the site is in line with the most recent KYC requirements. You will need to add your email address, telephone number and address. You choose a username during the process also and will need to add your card details. At this point, no money is required unless you decide to deposit and take advantage of their welcome bonus. You will be asked if you wish to accept the current welcome bonus when you make your first deposit. If you decide you don’t want to be bound by the bonus Ts and Cs and wagering requirements, you can just go straight to play cash with your deposit.
So where to first, if you’re a slots fan you’re more than amply serviced. There’s a huge range of slots types from all the best and most popular suppliers – Eyecon, Blueprint Gaming, NetEnt and of course Playtech. The big multisite networked jackpots are in play here, as you’d expect. There’s old-style slots, video slots, themed slots and film and television branded slots.
Bingo players like myself will be familiar with the slots on offer seeing old favourites like Fluffy Favourites and Jackpot Giant. However, if you’re signing up for the retail casino feel, you’ll also be well served. There’s a suite of life casino games on offer, including Quantum Roulette where single random numbers get additional bonuses attached to them meaning you can win big on a singles bet. Then there are the themed table games such as Age Of Gods Roulette and Kingdoms Rise Blackjack. Oh, and the regular table games as well that you’d expect, both live and online versions.
So, a wide range of games, loads of variety. What else is worth a note? The account area is very clear and easy to follow. It’s easy to jump to the bits you need straight away, such as banking and withdrawal. The wagering requirements are easy to follow, so if you do take a bonus, you can see how much wagering you need to do before your bonus is converted to cash. The games open in pop-up windows, so you’ll always have the account window in your main browser, and each window has its own settings such as sound and quality.
There’s no lobby as such, so if you’re looking for sort of chat you get in a bingo site and alongside the games in some other casino sites, you’ll be disappointed. You can chat to the presenters in the live table game areas, but that’s no substitute for a group chat if you’re that way inclined.
Promotions wise, you can rack up VIP points which can be converted to cash, as you wager around the site. There are ongoing game-specific promotions, but it will interesting to see what seasonal and themed promotions crop up as time goes on.
Overall the experience is positive – the site is tidy and exudes the sort of professionalism you’d expect from such a respected brand. As this is a separate site and experience to the Sun Bingo one, you can’t use your login from there, but that also means if you want a change from the Slots at Sun Bingo, you can sign up at Sun Vegas and take advantage of the sign-up offer. Good stuff!
Our Verdict:
There’s little to concern us about The Sun Vegas, as a standalone site separate to its sister Sun Bingo, it offers a great online gaming experience under a familiar banner. A great range of games, straightforward backend and navigation and a decent sign-up bonus. Would like to see a lower Wagering Requirements on the welcome bonus, but it is pretty standard for these sort of sites. All in all, a good offering that I will be returning to.
