Network: Dragonfish (Now Closed) Online Bingo Network
Up until mid 2022, when it comes to online bingo sites the majority of brands available on the Internet today were powered by the Dragonfish BingoS Software and were a part of the Dragonfish network. However, this changed in 2022 with the purchase of 888 Holding’s whole bingo business by the Broadway Gaming Group, which manages the network under its new name, the Grand Battery Holdings Ltd Bingo Network.
As the 888 / Dragonfish Network is no more, we’ll leave this page as a record of its earlier times, but you can visit the Grand Battery Holdings Ltd Bingo Network. here to see the remnants of the network as it is post sale.
Initially, it was known as the Globalcom Bingo Network, until it was bought by 888. Where this network differs from others available is that there are no major issues with registering with numerous brands on the same network. The major issue with the Dragonfish network is that there are so many brands on it, many of which offer nothing of interest beyond their site name. Famously, the network offered a £1 million coverall game three times a week on each and every site, but to date this amount has never been won. However, should someone get lucky and win the elusive amount it won’t be paid in one lump sum but as an annual payment over a number of years.
Many of the more established sites on the Dragonfish network look very old and tired whilst the newer launches have clean, fresh designs. However, we can have too much of a good thing and the market is now inundated with sites that all offer the same thing thanks to the Dragonfish network.
The Dragonfish network is often referred to as a number of other names that include the 888 and Globalcom network. The reason for this is attributed to the software provider used to power the games and multiple changes in ownership. Each site owned and operated by the Dragonfish network is easily identified by the Dragonfish logo at the bottom of each and every page.
