Bingo Funland Review
Bingo Funland has now closed – the review remains for information purposes.
Bingo Funland is a name that has been around in the world of online bingo for quite some time but previously this brand was available on one of the lesser-known software/network combinations called Byworth. In April 2014 the brand re-launched on one of the better known networks, Dragonfish and is powered by the 888 / Globalcom software. Before you write this site off as just another skin, as we very nearly did, sign up and see what they have to offer.
From the moment you land at Bingo Funland you can see that a bit of thought has gone into the design and overall aesthetics of the site – something that is often overlooked when launching a networked brand. The theme seems to be of trolls and their mushroom homes on the landing page and we were certainly keen to see if it was carried through when you registered and visited the main lobby.
Registration to the site takes just minutes and if you have an account with any other brand on the network, the process will be familiar with you. The only downside is that it may take you a few attempts to find a username that has not been used at one of the many other sites on the network. There is a section of the registration process that asks for your financial details but this does not have to be completed in order to play. However, should you choose to include the details, no money will be taken from your account unless you choose to visit the online cashier and make a deposit.
As soon as your account has been created you can play at Bingo Funland as, like all sites on the Dragonfish network, there is a free play room for all players even without a deposit although access prior to funding is only available for a few days from registration.
Bingo Funland offers three different variants of the online bingo game; 75 ball as pattern games and multi-line and 90 ball bingo. In addition, to compliment the bingo offering, you will also find an impressive portfolio of instant win games available including popular titles like Fluffy Favourites and Sugar Train.
When you visit the lobby you will notice that there is a little something more than the usual menu offerings, a section entitled Funland Exclusives. Here you will find two rooms; Fundies Fifty and No Lose Bingo. The latter room opens every Monday and Wednesday at 9pm and if you don’t win, you will get your money back as bonus funds. Fundies Fifty – it’s a room that does what it says on the tin. Deposit at the site and for 14 days from registration you have the option to play every Tuesday and Thursday at 9pm for 10p a ticket, a £50 jackpot.
Bingo Funland has all the well-known promotions offered by the network AND a little something more so we think it’s worth a visit.
Our Verdict:
Bingo Funland Pluses
The below pluses are the positive points about Bingo Funland that make it a site worthy of your time and attention.
No deposit required to play at the site (albeit in one room only).
Exclusive rooms available to Bingo Funland players.
Well known and trusted software and network.
Bingo Funland Minuses
The below minuses are things Bingo Funland need to work on to improve their service to bingo players. If you’re not happy with the site’s issues, vote with your feet and play elsewhere.
Bonus structure set to change on 1st May 2014.
Limited variety of bingo games available.
Number of brands on the network is large therefore the odds of winning promotions or larger jackpots are quite small.
