Bingo Ballroom Review

Bingo Ballroom closed in 2022 This review remains for informational purposes.

Bingo Ballroom used to look dull and boring from the moment you arrived at the site. The homepage offered nothing enticing that would make you want to register with this brand. Origingally the brand lived up to expectations with a little “Strictly Come Dancing” design at least but what you were presented with is a selection of bingo balls and a cheesy couple (who weren’t even dressed for a ballroom)! It’s obvious immediately that this was just another Dragonfish brand; the landing page promoted the same offers as we have seen at numerous other brands on the network.

However, in June 2015 the site was taken over by 888 and with the takeover came a whole new look and feel to the site. The design was updated and Bingo Ballroom became a more attractive option for the online bingo player.

Clicking “Join Now” takes you to the registration form that is standard to the network and like many sites before it, Bingo Ballroom’s sign-up process has a financial section. You can skip this section and still be able to play at Bingo Ballroom as they offer free games to all players. It is worth noting that the free bingo offerings from Dragonfish have restrictions on room access dependent on deposit and registration date, full details can be found here. These allow you to get a feel for the gameplay at Bingo Ballroom, although chances are you will have seen it all before.

Once you have registered you are ready to visit the bingo lobby and see exactly what Bingo Ballroom has to offer. The lobby is where you can choose a room that suits your needs on both budget and game play. You have the choice of 75 ball pattern bingo and 90 ball games but if you wish to play multi-line bingo there is only one room that offers these games. Swedish bingo can be found under the “Specials” Tab.

The room layout at Bingo Ballroom is standard to the network with your ticket buying options to the left of the screen. When the game is in play this becomes the bingo call board. In the centre of the screen are your bingo tickets with the game prizes above your cards. To the right of the screen is the chat room with a selection of instant win games above chat.

When it comes to promotions Bingo Ballroom brings nothing new to the table, it has the standard offers available on the network. These include the £1 million coverall games, a packed guaranteed jackpot schedule, Team Bingo games and a selection of others.

Bingo Ballroom has put no effort into the design of their homepage so you have to ask, does the same lax attitude applies to customer support?

Our Verdict:

Bingo Ballroom is one of the most established brands on the Dragonfish network and in the rooms you’ll have the same gaming experience as at other sites. Nothing makes it stand out from the crowd though unfortunately.
