Nova Bingo has now closed – The review remains for information.

Nova Bingo opened its virtual doors to the bingo playing public in May 2012 and has a galactic feel to the home page with bingo ball planets and rocket ships dotted around the landing page. There’s details of the welcome bonus showing in the main banner as well as mention of the free bingo from this brand but when push comes to shove, whilst the page has a nice looking design, Nova Bingo is just another Dragonfish networked brand.

Nova Bingo talk of “new games, a new style and new fantastic promotions” but there is nothing new about the gaming experience at this brand, we have seen it all before 100+ times. Having said all of that, Nova Bingo have put quite a bit of effort into their site design and we all know what to expect from the Dragonfish network which is a safe and secure gaming environment so it’s not all bad for Nova Bingo.

Within minutes you are ready to play at Nova Bingo by simply completing the online registration form and whilst there is a financial section in the sign-up process, you can skip this and still be able to play at Nova Bingo as they do offer free bingo games even if a deposit has yet to be made. Access to the free rooms before deposit is time limited though.

From the main lobby of Nova Bingo you can easily navigate your way around the site but you don’t need a spaceship and it isn’t rocket science. There are three types of bingo games available here; 75 ball pattern, 90 ball bingo and the five line version of 75 ball although the latter is actually found under the 90 ball tab in the Swedish bingo room.

When you enter a bingo room you’re greeted by an automated macro first and then, if a chat host is on duty, by the host. How busy chat is really depends on the time of day but there will always be someone to talk to in the Nova Bingo rooms as it is part of the network, it just might be that they aren’t playing from the same brand as you.

As well as bingo you will find an array of instant win games at Nova Bingo and you have a couple of options for how you play these games. You can choose to play them in the same window as your bingo game although this makes the chat screen really small and therefore chat nigh on impossible to follow, or you can open them in a window completely separate to your bingo game.

In summary, Nova Bingo have made an effort to shine but whilst the paint job is different on the front door, step inside and you will have seen it all before.
