Gold Medal Bingo has now closed – The review remains for information.

Gold Medal Bingo – an apt name at the time of writing the review as London prepares for the 2012 Olympics but is this site a winner or one that doesn’t even make it to the winner’s podium? From the look of the home page of this brand it’s more likely to be the latter as you instantly know you’re at a Dragonfish networked brand. There’s a woman holding a gift waiting to greet you and the most prominent advertisement is for the £1 million coverall games that have never been won! The welcome bonuses are standard to the network and from the moment you land at Gold Medal Bingo you’ll be pretty sure of what you can expect from your gaming experience.

Stepping through the virtual doors at Gold Medal Bingo by clicking “Register Now” you’re taken to the same sign-up form as you may have seen at numerous other brands. Complete a few details and you are ready to play at the site even without a deposit as one of the free rooms is available is open to players who have yet to deposit at the site. This is only available for a short time though and then deposits are required to access the free play rooms.

Once you have completed the sign up form at Gold Medal Bingo you are ready to get under starter’s orders but in all honesty you’ll probably be feeling a sense of déjà vu right about now unless you are a complete novice in the world of bingo online. Step into the bingo lobby and you can see exactly what this brand has to offer you by way of games. There are several different navigational tabs including instant wins, 90 ball, 75 ball bingo, specials, free bingo, daily jackpots and of course, £1m jackpots. In the centre of your screen are even more details of what’s on offer including ticket prices, time until next game and room name. When you’ve found a room to suit you just click ‘play now’ and you’re taken into the game.

Here is where you’ll feel right at home if you have played at other Dragonfish networked brands because the Gold Medal Bingo rooms look no different; buying options to the left, tickets in the centre of your screen and chat, with a selection of instant win games, are above the chat room.

Gold Medal Bingo doesn’t have a winning edge on other bingo sites unfortunately, you’ll no doubt have seen all this brand has to offer before.
