As of this week another bingo hall has bitten the dust. Big Win For Mum At Newport Castle Bingo
Most bingo players treat a session as a good excuse to get out of the house, and do a bit of socialising, as although winning the jackpot is in the back of every player’s mind, we are all well aware of the statistical probabilities when it comes to hitting full house, particularly when playing the […]
E-Cigarette Causes Bingo Hall Problems Again
A grandmother was recently asked to leave Castle Bingo in Canton, Cardiff for smoking an E-cigarette inside the premises. Joe Cummings is a bit disgruntled about it all, as she took up E-cigs due to poor health induced by smoking. Since quitting the real ‘fags’, her health has improved, although she is now unable to […]

It’s not all doom and gloom in the retail world. Beacon Entertainments are showing their commitment to bingo by rebranding themselves alongside adding a number of improvements to their halls. During the rebrand, the company will improve its existing Beacon clubs and re-name 3 others to expand the Beacon name. The group’s Riva Clubs at […]

Congratulations go out to Christine Bradfield from Bargoed at the Merthyr Tydfil Castle Bingo club who won herself her a massive £1.1 million prize. If you hadn’t noticed it already, The Big ‘N’ […]
Bingo Halls Shooting Selves In Foot During Intervals?
The last month I’ve had a couple of trips to one of the bigger Bingo halls in Cardiff, The Castle Bingo on Newport Road. The times I’ve been, a couple of things struck me about what was happening at the club in contrast to the press I see about the industry’s problems. I’ve often said […]
And A Quick Bingo News Round Up
As I’ve been busy preparing for and attending the Online Bingo Summit, I’ve been a bit neglectful of the news, so here’s a quick round up of some other interesting Bingo news from the last week or so. We’ll start with some big jackpot news. Mecca Bingo can claim the crown for creating the first […]
