Clydebank Club 3000 Bingo – Kilbowie Retail Park

Club 3000 Bingo Clydebank occupies a modern retail-park bingo hall at Kilbowie Retail Park, and it’s worth being clear that this isn’t a new-build club, it was previously Gala Bingo. West Dunbartonshire Council’s town-centre report specifically identifies Gala Bingo operating at Kilbowie Retail Park alongside Poundstretcher and Aldi, confirming the site’s earlier life well before Club 3000 arrived. The exact date of the Gala to Club 3000 changeover isn’t yet pinned down, but current Gambling Commission and West Dunbartonshire licensing records both confirm the premises now trade as Club 3000 at 3B Kilbowie Retail Park.

The club offers the standard modern format of paper and electronic bingo, gaming machines, food, a licensed bar and free retail-park parking. It’s clearly still an active, well-used venue too. In October 2024 it hosted its first £50,000 National Bingo Game jackpot win, with Club 3000 celebrating a local winner at the club. So the lineage worth recording is Gala Bingo giving way to Club 3000 Bingo at the same Kilbowie premises, rather than a purpose-built Club 3000 venue from scratch, an important distinction from some of the company’s genuinely new-build clubs elsewhere. The exact opening date for Gala at the site, and the precise handover to Club 3000, remain open questions worth chasing down for a fuller history.
