bgo Boss Verne Troyer Dies Age 49

Verne Troyer was known for many different roles but probably his most famous was as Mini-Me in the second and third Austin Powers films. However, for online gamblers, especially casino players, he was known as the Boss at bgo. It’s with a very heavy heart that we write this piece because news has just broken that he has passed away.

News broke at about 9pm this evening following a post on his official Facebook page and whilst bgo have yet to react to his passing, we are sure that we will see some changes on site over the next couple of days to show respect for Verne Troyer and his family and friends.

Facebook Post From Verne Troyer Page

On his official Facebook page, the post told of sadness and heavy hearts. It went on to describe Verne’s personality and how he wanted to make everyone happy, for them to smile and laugh. If anyone was in need, he would try to help where possible and hoped to share that message every day.

Verne was admitted to hospital a few weeks ago now and was placed on “involuntary psychiatric hold” and at this point, a post was made that requested followers to keep Verne in their prayers. It went on to say that he was receiving the best care possible and resting comfortably. Nothing more was posted until the news today of his passing.

Verne Troyer And bgo

Verne put bgo on the map when it came to online gambling when he became The Boss and was seen advertising the brand on television alongside Paris Hilton.

Despite one of the adverts attracting a couple of complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority, his inimitable humour and presence engaged viewers with bgo.

RIP Verne Troyer, you will forever be The Boss.
