If you are a Top Gear fan then the chances are you will be well aware of the furore surrounding the popular presenter of this much-loved show. Whatever side of the fence you sit on, it’s a debate that looks set to continue for a while yet and one that could result in Jeremy Clarkson no longer as a present for Top Gear. We’ve come up with an idea for a new role for him and one that was loosely based on a concept Top Gear launched in February 2013, Top Gear Bingo.
We’ve already seen some popular programs link with our favourite game and whilst our attempt to link bingo and Top Gear might appear tenuous at first, Top Gear Bingo is a real game, albeit not available to UK players – not just one we have made up to try and piggy back some traffic!
The app, that we have been unable to find on the app store, was developed on the Monterosa LViS platform and saw the viewers of the show offered a bingo card that they had to then mark corresponding cards, items and well known phrases from the Top Gear show on. We even reported on it in February 2014 and you can read the article here.
The app looked like this:

What we’d like to see is a real Top Gear Bingo launch with Jeremy as the bingo caller and all the number calls car related, it could certainly attract more men to the game online. However, we’re sure that the likely hood of this actually happening is about as likely as the BBC actually sacking Jeremy Clarkson!
Whilst we wait on the decision from the BBC, why not take this fun quiz to see how Jeremy Clarkson you are? Just click the image below and the quiz will start:
