Do you ever stumble across an online bingo site and think ‘where on earth did they get their name?’ Yes, us too, quite often! We understand that it’s a busy marketplace and it must be difficult to come up with new, unique names, but all the same, some of the names out there leave us scratching our heads. It’s ok for some sites, established brands such as Ladbrokes Bingo were never going to called anything else, while other brands are affiliated with famous names and then take those names on themselves, Iceland Bingo would be the perfect example of that.
With this in mind, we had quite a giggle today when we stumbled across this You Tube video by Jake Yapp, we started sniggering and it soon turned into a big belly laugh. He plays a bingo manager, trying to come up with a name and theme for a new bingo site. We won’t spoil it for you, but it’s definitely worth a watch!
We hope you enjoyed that, we certainly did and with that in mind, we thought we’d put together our top bingo sites that we think may have been subject to a bingo brainstorming session similar to this one!
- In at number 10 is Vampire Bingo, take a dead sparkling horse and flog it! We’re not sure we want our bingo with a side of Twilight.
- In at number 9 is Rehab Bingo, we sort of get it, but it’s dubiously named and irresponsible given that it’s a gaming site.
- At number 8 is Lucky Touch Bingo, maybe the least said about that the better.
- Number 7 is in the henhouse with Clucky Bingo, we’re not sure what the connection is here!
- Number 6 really takes the Biscuit, it’s Biscuit Bingo but we don’t really get the concept.
- Number 5 is a crocodile with Snap Bingo, bingo in the Amazon? We’re not sure either.
- Number 4 is Banjo Bingo, and we wonder what this has to do with the online game of bingo at all. Duelling Banjos doesn’t involve bingo balls, or calling house.
- Number 3 is another animal with Hippo Bingo. We’re not sure what the suggestion is here, and we wouldn’t like to guess where the brainstorming took place.
- Number 2 is the daftly named Bingo Chimp, we’re not sure if this site pays peanuts or cash wins!
- But the daftest named bingo site of all time, in our opinion, Number 1 has to be Banana Gold on the Dragonfish network. We have no idea where that came from, and we’re not sure that they do either!
We hope you enjoyed our little bit of fun. We’re sure all the sites are great to play at, but sometimes when new sites have launched, we are left wondering if all the good names have run out.
