When checking the bingo news recently I stumbled upon a press release from Fierce Bingo and once again found myself feeling that it had been written by someone trying to sound gay rather than a person who actually is, much like the content on the actual home page of the site.
Apparently the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community have asked for it and Fierce Bingo are obliging with the world’s first online gay bingo website. Players are referred to as ‘Gay-mers’ and apparently can chat and meet gay men and women in the rooms at the site but sadly, it’s not really the case.

FIERCE GAY CHAT ROOM
Tired of chatting on the same old boring online gay dating sites? Just want to banter with other gay and lesbian bingo players, wink, nudge, tongue-in-cheek.
As a Dragonfish brand all of the chat rooms are linked at and this point in time, there are no standalone rooms available at Fierce Bingo meaning the chat is for everyone and not aimed at one particular demographic as the press release claims.
For all intent and purposes a ‘gay-mer’ could sign with any of the brands on the Dragonfish network (full list here) and enjoy the same games and chat as found at Fierce Bingo, it’;s simply that the others aren’t marketing themselves as specifically for players of a certain sexual persuasion.
As a reviewer said ‘As a gay bingo player I was disappointed at what Fierce Bingo had to offer. The chat rooms aren’t individual to the specific site, they are linked, so really the chat ain’t about the ‘gay world’ its a mix of complete garbage or nothing overly interesting. If the site really wanted to aim the site towards the gay community surely the chat would have been individual and for the ‘gay player’. I wouldn’t go back to play here – far from my kind of site‘
