Iceland Bingo And I’m A Celebrity

The new series of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here (IACGMOH) starts in November and we’ve no doubt that you will have seen the trailers featuring Ant and Dec strolling down the street with Ant sure he was “meant to be doing something”. It was whilst watching these commercials for the program that we noticed that it is sponsored by Iceland that got us thinking, are Iceland Bingo likely to appear in the trailers for the new series of IACGMOH?

We have seen many online bingo brands sponsor popular televisions programs in the past and some currently still are (Bet365 and Emmerdale, Foxy Bingo and the Jeremy Kyle Show) but with Iceland sponsoring IACGMOH it seems a foregone conclusion that we see this brand advertising their wares, albeit just a Dragonfish network brand, in the commercial break.

What would the Iceland Bingo bumper look like? What music would accompany the 10-second commercial that tries to attract you to play at their online bingo brand? Will we see the site offer a selection of IACGMOH goodies as prizes in exclusive promotions when the series starts?

Of course we can’t answer these questions because currently this is all supposition but we can guess at some of the answers. For example, if we were to create a bumper to advertise this brand in the commercial breaks of this popular television program, then the music we would use would be The Lion Sleeps Tonight but the Tight Fit 1982 version that reached number one in the UK.

Maybe they could re-employ Kerry Katona (considering she won series three of IACGMOH and is well-known for promoting the Iceland brand before being sacked) and have her as the Queen of the Bingo Jungle, a parody of the Jackpot Joy theme?

We will have to wait and see if Iceland Bingo is going to use the prime-time spots to advertise their wares.
