Lucky 7’s £6,051 Progressive Jackpot Won At Beach Bingo

When it comes to land based bingo halls we all know the big names like Mecca and Gala but across the country there are a number of independent clubs as well. Beach Bingo is one such club and on Saturday night their Lucky 7’s progressive jackpot reached an impressive £6,501. The jackpot had been growing for a number of weeks (it starts at just £300) and players have to pay a £1 fee to “opt in” for the chance to win. That’s exactly what Louise Luke did and it was definitely a lucky pound.

As the Beach Club bingo patrons played the game on Saturday 7th July there were just five of the 17 lucky numbers yet to be called when the number 8 came out and Louise called the full house.

The Lucky 7’s game at Beach Bingo is really simple to play with the starting number being 77. Each week a new Lucky 7 number is added from the seven’s (i.e. 37, 47, 57) but should the jackpot not be won in when all nine seven numbers have been used, the eight come into play. At the time of the win there was just one additional eight ball to be added, the number 58.

Lucky Louise attends the Beach Bingo hall with her Mum and has done for a number of years, she’ll be sharing the prize with her too! Louise Luke, 42, had this to say about her win according to a news article at Bingo Supermarket (read it here):

“I’m elated, I just can’t believe it. My Mum and I have never won anything big before, and I was waiting on only four numbers when the line went. As the game went on I’d almost given up hope, then out they came! I’m still shaking! Everyone in the club has been so happy for us and congratulating us both. I still can’t believe it!”.

It’s not just the big name branded bingo halls where you can win substantial amounts of money as this news story proves!
