Showreel Bingo Review

Showreel Bingo was only the second site to join the fairly new 15 Network. In February 2012 there were just three sites on the network, Showreel Bingo, Zingo Bingo and Lights Camera Bingo (originally Quiz Show Bingo). The network uses a new software designed by Jumpman Gaming so if you are looking for a new online bingo gaming experience then Showreel Bingo could be the brand for you.

When you land at the site for the first time you will get a “cinema” feel with Showreel Bingo with popcorn, film reels and even a cartoon character film projector. The home page isn’t as busy as some other brands available online today and centre stage is given to the registration and welcome bonus offered by the brand. There are special offers available to new players making their first deposit; 2 free cinema tickets and a 30 day LoveFilm trial just for depositing £10 at the site, but unfortunately there are no free bingo offerings available until you make a deposit at Showreel Bingo.

It takes just a couple of minutes to register a new account with Showreel Bingo and although there is a section for your financial details, you do not need to enter these. As soon as registration is complete and you have verified your new account through the welcome email you can login and enter the lobby by clicking the “Play Now” button. Although the software used for Showreel Bingo is different for most sites available on the Internet today, the lobby has a familiar feel with tabs to navigate through the site’s games offerings. There are four tabs; 75 ball, 90 ball, £1,000 and instants. Showreel Bingo, at the time of the review, only offered the 75 ball pattern game and 90 ball game.

Unfortunately room numbers are limited to just three; one 90 ball and two 75 ball although only one of the latter was open at the time of the review. Player numbers are small with just eight players in the 90 ball room and four in the 75 ball room but our review was compiled at 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon; we do know that in the evenings Showreel Bingo does get a little busier and with more sites planned for the network, we could well see an increase in numbers in the not too distant future.

Rooms are laid out in a very similar fashion to that of the 888/Globalcom software with chat to the right of your screen and a selection of instant win games above the chat room. You bingo tickets are off to the left of the screen with prize details, purchasing options and the number of players in the room above your bingo cards.

When it comes to promotions they are a little thin on the ground at Showreel Bingo at the moment with just one £1,000 guaranteed jackpot game and many of the others focusing on giving away loyalty points. Loyalty points can be exchanged for bonus funds but we need to see something a bit more interesting from this brand before it will get a big thumbs up from us.

Whilst it does offer a new gaming platform, there is more to a bingo brand than that and it’s the other things that Showreel Bingo lack at the moment. One to watch though!

Our Verdict:

Showreel Bingo Pluses

The below pluses are the positive points about Showreel Bingo that make it a site worthy of your time and attention.

New software, only three brands used the Jumpman Gaming software at the time of launch.
Additional offers aside from deposit bonuses.
Unique game features.

Showreel Bingo Minuses

The below minuses are things Showreel Bingo need to work on to improve their service to bingo players. If you’re not happy with the site’s issues, vote with your feet and play elsewhere.

Very limited room numbers.
Only offers deposit bonuses via a wheel spin.
Very high wagering requirements.

Awaiting rating.
