Aunty Acid Bingo Review

Aunty Acid Bingo has now closed. The details below are for information purposes only.

Aunty Acid Bingo opened in November 2013, and no one who uses social media could fail to know who Aunty Acid is. With her caustic tongue and funny taglines she’s a popular addition to Facebook, but will the bingo site, launched on the Cozy Games software, prove to be as popular as the character herself?

Landing at the Aunty Acid Bingo page for the first time is quite a giggle, especially if you’re a big fan of Aunty Acid herself. She’s not known for making friends with her unpopular opinions, but the site is making good use of her good name with strong branding throughout.

Registration is standard to the network but as is the case with all brands on LBN you may encounter problems if you have registered with other sites on the network. If you are signed up at another brand on the network you may find it difficult to come up with a unique username.

From the main lobby at Aunty Acid Bingo you can see that the brand offers several different variants of the game online. Some of the brands using Cozy Games have a limited number of bingo rooms, but not so at the Live Bingo network who offer a big selection of rooms to choose from. The variants come in 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball and 30-ball so you really do get the full complement here, but 90-ball is clearly the most popular with lots of players online.

If you’ve played at other Cozy Games sites, the layout in the rooms will seem quite familiar, the interface isn’t as graphic rich as some but it\s easy to navigate and play. ticket purchasing is to the left of the screen, but do be careful as there’s no way to find out how much tickets for the next game will cost, so you could get caught out if you buy in advance. Aside from that the bingo plays quite well, although we do find ourselves wishing we could close out chat, as the chat hosts on this software really do leave a lot to be desired, overusing the smiley and showing a very poor command of the English language. Thankfully it’s not too hard to ignore the chat box and the game play itself isn’t bad at all..

The promotions page on site looks like it offers plenty, but unless you’re a top wagerer, you might not find anything aimed at you. Many of the promotions are based around depositing and those who spend a lot on site, and that doesn’t leave much for the occasional player.

In 2013, a lowering of wagering requirements, and a lower minimum withdrawal made Cozy Games a much more appealing interface to play on. However, there are still some restrictions, such as the fact that you can only withdraw once a week, and other restrictions, so we suggest you check the terms and conditions to make sure you’re happy with these before you invest too much real cash into the site. We don’t want to slate the brand, but Aunty Acid is known for her honesty, and so are we!

Further changes were implemented in September 2017 reducing the minimum deposit to just £5 and the minimum withdrawal amount to just £10.

There isn’t much here that is too different to other brands on the Cozy Games software, but this is the only one that offers Britain’s favourite caustic relative. If you’re a fan of Cozy Games, and you love Aunty Acid, you might find yourself right at home here.

Our Verdict:

Aunty Acid Bingo is powered by the Cozy Games software, a shock for us when we realised there was a connection to the popular community on Facebook (11 million strong). That said, changes have been made to the software and networks but gives it more appeal than it once had.
