Buzz Bingo Stratford, at 341 to 351 High Street, London E15 4QZ, opposite Stratford High Street DLR station, has closed. It was a modern, purpose built club rather than a converted cinema, with parking for around 300 vehicles, disabled facilities, a smoking shelter, cash machines and a restaurant and bar. It started life as Gala Bingo Stratford before rebranding to Buzz in 2018 following Gala’s wider name change across its estate. Current specialist bingo directories consistently list it as closed, and a January 2026 local discussion about a proposed replacement venue also refers to the closure, giving useful contemporary confirmation.

The confusion around its status comes from old directory listings still circulating online. Sites like Tripadvisor and AccessAble retain legacy opening hours and even show it as open, and some listings carry the ambiguous phrase that the club has “temporarily closed” while a new venue is sought nearby. That wording suggests the closure was tied to losing the premises rather than Buzz deliberately withdrawing from the area, but no reliable source yet gives an exact final trading date, so that should be marked unconfirmed.

  1. Very rude, no help at all and hardly understood english. I wanted to sign up and get a membership at gala bingo in stratford and I don’t have any photo ID so now I can’t play bingo until I get one.

  2. Went to this club the other day; very friendly, helpful, staff even had some time to have a chat with me as well. Will deffo go here more often thanks gala Stratford
