  1. Found this club to be the friendliest club I’ve been to in a long time. There’s definately a ‘Nothing’s too much trouble’ environment taking place there. I came down from Glasgow for the weekend and I had a great time. I’ll be back!

  2. I used to play bingo at Mecca in Greenock, but prefer Globe in Johnstone. The players and staff are really friendly, it’s not too pricey and the prize money is good (although this can change according to weather conditions, you still have to pay the same price to play). They have the electronic pets which have 18 books on them, or you can buy books of 6, 4 and 3. They provide cash bingo which varies from 10p a game to the maximum £1 a game. They also have prizes that they give away if you win on certain numbers, snowball cash prizes and a free draw to win £300. It has a lovely family atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone. The place is very dated, but i think this adds to the atmosphere too. I would not give it 5 out of 5 as it does need a spruce up, but other than that I love it. They have a bar and a little tea bar too and the hall is next to a fish and chip shop (you can take your own food in) and across from Lidl and there is a newsagents nearby too. They have a cash machine, a drinks machine and a chocolate vending machine. The bingo is normally called by John and Billy. I prefer going to play when John is working as he is more of a people’s person.
