The Palace is a joint cinema and bingo club located right in the middle of the town, with its own car park, and a municipal car park over the road.

The club was originally solely a cinema, having opened in 1937 as the Ritz, which was a small cinema with seating for only 240 cinema goers. It was closed in 1963, and bingo took over the stalls. The cinema reopened in 1974 in the circles area and to our knowledge still continues top operate, so you can a have a full fun packed day all under one roof.
