We’ve seen quite a shakeup in the online bingo industry this year, and this weekend we’ve heard about yet another site closing its doors. We visited Bingo Riot, on the Winners Bingo Network over the weekend, but the site has gone, completely vanished and players are being redirected to Play 2 Win on the same network.
There’s been some big movement on the Cozy Games software over the last few weeks, and this is set to continue a little longer as several sites on the software are moving around. If the Bingo Drums are to be believed, the Winners Bingo Network is disbanding in its entirety and most sites are moving over to the Live Bingo Network.
This shouldn’t mean many closures, and for players the move will hardly be noticeable at all, but those who like to play Bingo Riot will notice as the site has become the first major casualty of the Cozy Games shakeup!
We have to be honest and say that one site on the Cozy Games software is pretty much the same as another, so we don’t think that players will be inconvenienced too much along the way. All balances and account information will be transferred over, and those who are regulars on the network will know that you can use your log in at other sites anyway.
We can only hope that the streamlining of the Chelbis software that seems to be happening at the moment will work to cut away some of the dead wood, because there’s plenty of that. And we’ll be looking out for some improvements across the network at the same time, we can’t lie, it’s not our favourite software and so any change is a welcome one for us.
