XXX Bingo – X Rated Or Underrated?

XXX Bingo is the name of a new brand reportedly coming soon according to the domain xxxbingo.co.uk, a domain that currently sports a logo that can only be described as more fitting for some seedy X-rated site that the government are currently working to block. Atop of the logo are three naked silhouetted ladies and the text below reads “Coming Soon – For Bingo Playing Adults Only’.

Online bingo is a game for adults only, you have to be 18 to play the game at any brand on the Internet anyway, but most brands aren’t being overtly sexual when trying to attract players to their site.

Of course we have seen sites in the past that believe sex sells. Naughty Bingo uses half dressed characters on their home page and Steamy Bingo, before a move to Dragonfish, looked like it too was selling sex in some form or another. Even now Steamy Bingo still uses semi-clad people on their home page.

More recently Wink Bingo signed a sponsorship deal with the Dream Idols that saw five handsome lads adorn their home page with glistening torsos. They were also seen in the adverts for the brand and on the side of buses that led to the Advertising Standards Agency scrutinising the advertising.

However, whilst all of the above have used sex in some form or another to attract players to their sites, none have been as obvious about it as XXX Bingo. We dread to think what the actual bingo offering is going to be like but can relax a little in the knowledge that such a ‘cheap’ brand is likely to launch as a networked product rather than a standalone so there will be someone else tightening the reigns if they take the theme too far….hopefully!

  1. Hi, I’m the manager at XXXbingo.

    Firstly thank you for the news story.

    If I can add a few bits of information for your readers about what is coming with the new site ;

    You say “We dread to think what the actual bingo offering is going to be like but can relax a little in the knowledge that such a ‘cheap’ brand is likely to launch as a networked product rather than a standalone”.

    We will not be a ‘cheap’ brand. In terms of software we wont be going with Dragonfish (but I cant mention who it is at the moment as it’s still not been formally announced).

    Regarding bonuses and offers, we have some very exciting, and unique, ideas that we’ll be pushing on the site. Obviously I cant tell you what at the moment. I can guarantee we won’t be 100% match bonus! At the same time we wont throwing unrealistic deposit bonus offers around like some of the ‘cosier’ sites out there !

    Finally I can confirm that our launch date will probably be somewhere mid September 2013.

    Mark
