When it comes to completely unique gaming software for bingo there are very few brands left that offer a proprietary platform that powers their games. You have the giant that is Tombola, bgo Bingo and Game Village Bingo to name a few, the latter of which has now been sold to a company called Angel Crest Holding.
According to a press release from Online Casino City, Game Village has been acquired by the company that is co-founded by two veterans from the UK gaming sector. Avaneesh Shivananda and Ravi Raghav are the names behind Angel Crest Holding.
Both names have previously been linked with RASR Entertainment Ltd, responsible for brands like RapChic Bingo, Bingo Magix, Bingo Legacy and Sparkling Bingo. None of the brands that the two have been involved with previously have made a massive impression in the world of online bingo but this could be set to change with the proprietary software available at Game Village Bingo.
Lawrence Gouett and Juan Murillo, who have now decided to focus their attention on social and mobile gaming, founded the original Game Village bingo back in 2007. Mr Gouett gas this to say about the sale, ‘We believe the people behind Angel Crest are well positioned to capitalize on the growing interest in U.K. and European e-gaming market. We are going back to our original vision and roots and working on social/virtual goods development.’
The sale of Game Village includes the complete software rights, licence and UK brands in the European marketplace to Angel Crest Holding Ltd. The only other brand that we are aware of at this point that uses the software is Bingo Boogie and even then that has only been a very recent transition.
