Dragonfish, the largest network of bingo brands online today, have announced that during H1 (the first half) of 2013 that they will be launching their network on mobile. The app is reported to have been built using HTML5 and will be available on iPads, iPhones (iOS devices) and Android.
When the product first launches it is only going to be available to players who already have accounts with a Dragonfish networked brand (see all current Dragonfish brands here). Registration for new accounts and deposits for new players will not be available at launch but it is suggested that this will become available within the first year of launch.
The functionality that is reported to be available on the product will include a login screen, lobby, game screen, cashier and deposit only (with the exception of first time deposit) and ‘My Account’ section.
Further details of the Dragonfish Mobile product are not yet available but we will be following the story with interest. Already we have seen numerous brands launch a mobile bingo product with Tombola leading the market in on the move bingo in our opinion. Could this be set to change as Dragonfish move into mobile?
If the online product is anything to go by it is likely to be popular with players if the mobile offering manages to bring the same easy navigation and game play to your handheld device.
