Prize Land Bingo Review
The swish of the logo font will feel familiar to long time players, as Prize Land Bingo is the new face of what was once Iceland Bingo. Launched in April 2021, the Iceland branding was dropped and Prize Bingo Land was launched. Why the change? Well, it seems Iceland wanted to distance itself from online gaming and focus on what it does best, frozen fish fingers! So with that in mind, what does Prize Land have to offer?
Like its predecessor, the site is powered by the Dragonfish software and network. The sign-up is the standard process where they take all your details to fulfil the KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements to keep them on the right side of the Gambling Commission. I’m always amused by some of the occupation choices you can make, but I’ll let you decide which best suits you!
Once you’re signed-up and in to the site, you’ll no-doubt want to head over to the bingo rooms, and you’ll be happy with the selection of games on offer. In the lobby, the games are held under various tabs such as Prize Games, Jackpots, Etc. If you select the ‘All Games’ tab you can see everything on offer, with players and ticket prices on display.
As you’d expect on a Dragonfish site, bingo comes in the main flavours of 90 ball and 75 ball varieties, alongside the less widely available 52 ball variant. there are 20+ rooms with a wide range of games, prizes, jackpots and promotions in play, such as the prize room where you can play for high-tech hardware and luxury items.
Slots players are well catered for with the usual bingo friendly games you’d come to expect on a Dragonfish powered sites. Compared to some other sites out there the range is a bit limited. There are linked Jackpot Games, mainly the Eyecon powered ones, but players may miss Daily Drop and Jackpot King games as there are none available at the site. Favourites such as Fluffy Favourites and Starburst will be more welcome though for those that just want a quick fun spin.
There’s lots of promotional games through the month and regular events at the site that keep things interesting for bingo players. Again, you will find more on some of the bigger sites, but there is enough here for those just wanting to jump in and enjoy the games.
Our Verdict:
When it was Iceland Bingo, it stood out above the raft of also-run Dragonfish sites with its recognisable brand and a wider range of promotions than the network sites. Prize Land Bingo are looking to keep that good name going, and offer players a great range of games and promotions on a leading platform that will be well known by all bingo players. Whilst it doesn’t quite have the oomph of one of the market leaders, there’s plenty going on and a vibrant community to keep the average bingo player happy.
