Palaces Bingo Review

Note: Palaces Bingo has moved to the Pragmatic Play platform for its bingo. The below review is for its previous incarnation on Parlay and as a part of its own network. We will update this review in time.

Palaces Bingo is part of the Palatial Leisure Network, the only land based bingo sites to have their very own network and it’s small with just 7 sites in the group at the time of writing. Using software from Parlay the brand brings a unique feel to a market that can sometimes feel a little samey, offer some great bingo games and casino games combined on a single platform.

The registration form is simple, just a few personal details, name, address and date of birth and you’ll be ready to play at Palaces Bingo. Once you are signed up, you can make a deposit using any UK debit card and there are welcome bonuses to get you started.

Once you have completed the sign-up process you also have to create a chat name before you join the bingo rooms and this chat name must be different to the username you chose to get started.

The lobby launches in the main bingo screen and from here we see that there is just one bingo room open during our visit, Palace 1. We enter the room and see that unlike many online bingo brands the games chop and change in here, so one game might be a 90-ball bingo game, while the next will be 80-ball. Although this is very different to other sites on the market we quite like the unexpectedness of it, never knowing what’s coming up next.

The bingo interface itself is really attractive and unlike many of the brands out there right now. Cards take up mainstage, the tickets are easy to see and the whole interface is really bright and appealing. Player numbers aren’t that high, but neither are ticket prices and there are some fair prizes to be won each game. The chat hosts are really friendly and we’re instantly welcomed into the room, and while there is only one bingo room open we spy pre-buy jackpots and specials too offering jackpots of up to £5,000 for just 25p a ticket.

The Palaces is an all in one platform, so it’s not just bingo but a combined gaming platform and that means you’ll be spoiled for choice with the casino games on offer. There’s Monopoly, Star Trek and other big named slots alongside traditional casino games and even Live Dealer Games, all played from The Palace Casino, Great Yarmouth, making it incredibly unique in today’s bingo market. While some games are licensed in Alderney the group is overall UK licensed and that makes this network the only UK bingo network with UK licensing.

While there are some pre-buys, welcome bonuses and reloads, that’s pretty much it for promotions and if you’re looking for big tourneys, giveaways and more, you may not find it here. While the games are really playable, the bingo is fun and the side games are pretty sensational, the site is lacking some of the depth of other sites out there with no specials, or bits of interest around the site. That said what the site lacks in promotions it does make up for with a fresh feel and some really playable bingo games.

Overall what’s at Palaces Bingo is very appealing indeed, we absolutely love the Parlay 5 interface used by the site and it offers something a bit different for those fed up of playing the same old software over and over. However, the site is lacking a little pizzazz of other sites out there and definitely isn’t competing with some of the biggest sites on the market. That aside, with UK licensing, and a site from a well-established land brand, you know you’re in safe hands with a trusted name when you play Palaces Bingo.

Palaces Bingo, part of the only UK bingo network and growing every day!
