Once Upon A Bingo has now closed – The review remains for information.

Once Upon A Bingo, a name that instantly makes you think fairy tales and princesses, something many of the largely female demographic of bingo grew out of many years ago. The home page aesthetic shows all that you would expect from a brand of this name. It features castles, rainbows, bunnies and butterflies all on a pastel coloured background – in fact it would be fair to say that it has a rather childlike appeal to it.

The site launched in July 2014 joining a selection of other brands on the Dragonfish network that are owned by 8 Ball Games. We were curious to find out if the brand was going to offer a magical gaming experience but were certain that the ending of this story was going to be far from fairy tale, unless of course you are a big winner!

As is standard with the Dragonfish networked sites, registration is pretty simple and within minutes you are ready to play. There is a section for financial details during registration but this is only a necessity if you have been offered a ‘fully funded’ account or a no deposit required bonus becomes part of the welcome package for new players. Completing this section shouldn’t be a concern as no money is ever taking unless you choose to visit the cashier and make a deposit with Once Upon A Bingo.

Whilst there isn’t a standard no deposit required bonus available from this site, like all sites on the Dragonfish network there are free games available prior to a deposit. However this is a time limited offer from registration. For more details, click here.

When it comes to the bingo variants available on this software, there are just three currently. 75 ball pattern, 90 ball and 75 ball multi-line. The latter is not quite as prevalent as the other two though. What the site lacks in bingo variants it makes up for with instant win games – there are an abundance available including favourites like Fluffy Favourites, Sugar Train and many others. New titles are being added all the time.

When it comes to jackpots at Once Upon A Bingo, again these are available in abundance. There are a selection of pre-buy games on offer as well as the progressive jackpots and of course, the £1 million coverall games a few times a week. Whilst the big prize has never been won on these games, they are still popular.

The promotional schedule doesn’t offer anything new or exciting at this site, it is the standard network list which lets the brand down.

In summary whilst it looks to be all fairy tale and dreamy at Once Upon A Bingo, it is actually just more of the same from Dragonfish. No Prince Charming to be found here….

Playing mini games makes the chat too small.
