Epic Bingo Review

The site is now closed – But for future generations looking to see how epic Epic Bingo was, this review will remain.

Epic is a word defined by the dictionary as meaning something that “extends beyond the usual or ordinary” so we were expecting great things from Epic Bingo. Unfortunately, the moment you land at the site it is apparent that this is a Cozy Games brand and this used to mean quite a few pitfalls from the hoops you had to jump through to claim the welcome bonus to the high minimum withdrawal amount.

However, since we first reviewed the site at launch, there have been many, many changes that have been undertaken. The minimum withdrawal amount has been significantly reduced and new payment options and gaming choices have been added.

If you want to take the time to register and then validate your account, you will have access to the Newbie Bingo room at Epic Bingo, no deposit required. This gives you the chance to play for free for seven days to try the site on for size.

Registration is a one-click process with just your chosen username, password and date of birth required to get started at the site.  Once you have completed the validation process you can see what Epic Bingo has to offer.  At the time of the review, there were only three bingo types available, 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo but as time moved on, more and more gaming options were added. Some aren’t available at all times though.

From the lobby at Epic Bingo you simply have to choose a room that suits your requirements; you can see the game type, number of players and the progressive jackpot offered. Only some of the rooms are available to non-depositing players, some are linked rooms with other brands on the network and you cannot access these until a deposit has been made.

Once again we find the usual issues that are rife on the Cozy Games software; ticket prices do not show when a game is in play, the chat hosts are a bit “smiley” happy and insist on using text speak or referring to players as hunnie, babes or love and there are restrictions on ticket purchasing to just 15 per game if a deposit has not been made.

Add to this the high minimum withdrawal amount, the wagering requirements on deposits and the obviously foreign chat hosts and Epic Bingo has all the qualities of other brands on the same platform – virtually none!

Our Verdict:

Epic Bingo doesn’t quite live up to the name it has but if you’re a fan of the Cozy Games offering, then you’ll likely enjoy what the site has to offer.
