Bingo Magix Review

Bingo Magix has now closed – The review remains for information purposes.

One of the old-timers of the online bingo world, Bingo Magix launched back in the grand-old days of 2008. One of the first Cozy Bingo sites, it remains one of the few from those days still standing. Many other Cozy skins have closed the last couple of years but not Bingo Magix. Does it offer anything to justify the fact it’s still standing? Well, the short answer is no.

Why do I say that? For many years the Cozy software and experience left a sour taste in the mouth of us experienced bingo players. With its restrictive Ts and Cs and myriad ways to stop you ever taking any winnings out it was bottom of our favourites list. Things have improved in the intervening years. This is in part because the company had to comply with Gambling Commission regulations. However, they’re still up there with the worst in terms of wagering requirements and withdrawal procedures. The software has the same faults it always had, and the strain is showing with quieter rooms and less bingo.

I know Cozy has its fans, you might even be one, but there’s nothing here really to shout about. The design is atypical of Cozy sites as is the sign-up procedure. You sign-up, supply them your details, verify your account email, and you’re in. Make your first deposit and you can decide whether to accept a sign-up bonus and the wagering conditions or choose not to take one.

The lobby gives you access to the open bingo rooms and the option to pre-buy if they’re not. There are good value 1p-2p games to be had which is an excellent way of getting the maximum play-through from the hefty bingo bonus if you decided to take it.

Then you have the standard network jackpots and specials available to you if you want to have a go. Alongside the bingo is a plethora of Cozy Software slots and scratch-cards, and games by the likes of Eyecon.

So why is Bingo Magix still around when others of the same age have disappeared? It’s a good question, they don’t have anything unique on offer or special over the other Cozy sites. I can only surmise that they still have enough players from down the years to keep the lights switched on. Other than that, there’s not really any reason to join the site other than if you need a fix of the Cozy.

Our Verdict:

Having been around for more than a decade, it’s hard to see why given the stale format, less than favourable Ts and Cs and lack of variety. Good value sign-up bonuses aside, you have to adhere to wagering requirements if you ever want to cash out.
