3AM Bingo Review
3am Bingo closed on 31st July 2012. The details below are for information purposes only. Player accounts were migrated to Mirror Bingo.
The 3am magazine was launched in March 2004 after the gossip column 3am was suggested to be the most “identifiable brand and selling point” by Trinity Mirror. The staff who were involved in the magazine were encouraged to dress casually, listen to the radio and generally be more “with it”. Can this be said about 3am Bingo, the brand launched by the same people behind the celebrity and gossip magazine? Unfortunately not; land on the home page of 3am Bingo and you’ll get a distinct feeling of déjà vu especially if you have played on other sites on the Cashcade network.
The biggest downfall on the home page of 3am Bingo is that just below the ‘Join Now’ and ‘Play Now’ button is a little news section that is filled with what can only be described as “gobbledygook”. Your home page is your first impression 3am Bingo, it’s what is going to entice your audience to play and this really doesn’t help!
From here it basically goes from bad to worse as it’s a nightmare to register with 3am Bingo should you have accounts at any other brand on the network; brands like 3am Bingo and We Luv Bingo to name just two. If you have used your debit card or even your email address at another brand on the network then your registration is destined to fail at 3am Bingo.
Get past registration and you’re ready to play; your first port of call is the bingo lobby where it is easy to see what 3am Bingo has to offer by way of bingo games and instant win games. There are four main tabs and each holds a selection of games be it 90 ball, 75 ball, instant win or pre-buy games. Access to some of the rooms is restricted to funded players but this is standard to many online bingo brands.
The game play is standard to sites powered by the 888/Globalcom software with the room layout the same too. Difference being that at 3am Bingo there is nothing indicating that this is the brand that you are playing at. It is usual practice with the Cashcade networked brands that there is a site logo in the top left hand corner, but at 3am Bingo it is a blank space.
Promotions, well these are pretty standard to the network – deposit bonus, again standard in fact it would be fair to say that everything about 3am Bingo is just that, standard! Nothing new, exciting or innovative to see here – move along people!
Our Verdict:
3am Bingo was a fairly standard networked site, with nothing other than its connection to the Daily Mirror to make it worthy of note.
