Bingo Hollywood Review
Bingo Hollywood is a standalone brand that uses the 888/Globalcom software and when you first land at the site you do get a distinct Hollywood feel with show reels and star mirrors but unfortunately, there is far too much happening making the site page far too busy. On any bingo homepage your eyes should be drawn to the welcome offers, at Bingo Hollywood you simply don’t know where to start!
The home page shows a flashing banner that scrolls through some of the current promotional offers as well as making mention of two static features at Bingo Hollywood; the free bingo rooms and the Lucky Calls side bet game. To the left of this banner is where you will find the current welcome bonus for new players to Bingo Hollywood.
It takes just a couple of minutes to register with Bingo Hollywood: financial details are not required at this point. All you have to enter is a few details like your name, address, telephone number and date of birth and then you are ready to play at Bingo Hollywood.
At completion of registration you will be asked if you wish to deposit or play now, by clicking ‘play now’ you can enter the lobby and see what the site has to offer. The navigation around the lobby is different from that of other 888/Globalcom sites with the navigation being horizontal rather than vertical. You have several tabs to choose from and each are pretty self-explanatory; 75 ball, 90 ball, free games, jackpots, arcade, slots and VIP.
The rooms are named quite aptly for a brand called Bingo Hollywood; you’ll find the Red Carpet room, Beverly Hills Bingo (both 75 ball), Superstars and Silver Screen (both 90 ball). There are plenty of rooms to choose from but most are restricted access to players who have made a deposit, we found just ONE accessible to players who have yet made a deposit and even then chat was not available without depositing. Ticket prices vary at Bingo Hollywood but there are plenty of rooms and varying prices to suit all budgets.
Although there are two free bingo rooms at Bingo Hollywood only one appears to be open but whilst the free games seem a little thin on the ground, there are plenty of guaranteed jackpots and promotions available from this online bingo brand.
At launch we were quite impressed with the site but changes noted in May 2014 (namely the higher wagering requirements, higher minimum withdrawal and chat block for unfunded players) means that this site has fallen in our estimations.
Our Verdict:
Bingo Hollywood Pluses
The below pluses are the positive points about Bingo Hollywood that make it a site worthy of your time and attention.
Standalone bingo brand.
Free games available for all players.
Selection of guaranteed jackpots available.
Bingo Hollywood Minuses
The below minuses are things Bingo Hollywood need to work on to improve their service to bingo players. If you’re not happy with the site’s issues, vote with your feet and play elsewhere.
The home page is far too busy.
Unfunded players may only access one mainstream room and chat is blocked.
Minimum withdrawal amount is £50 (changed in August 2017 to just £5)
