At the moment we do not have details of the events that led up to, or any of the circumstances surrounding the closure of the Top Ten Bingo Stanley. We do know that the building has been destroyed in a fire(November 2013) since its closure. The fire started in a Chinese takeaway that had opened in the building after the closing of Top Ten Bingo. Apparently the blaze was out of control in a matter of minutes, so there was very little hope of saving the Victorian building, and any chances of bingo ever returning have now disappeared completely.
