Address (for reference only):
Although we don’t know much about Coral Bingo Rotherham, we do know a bit about the venue’s past.
Built in 1913, and opened in 1914, with a unique North African style exterior, The cinema house has seating for roughly 1,000 patrons, and its own cafe. Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t have any photos of the original interior, which is a shame, as it was apparently as unique as the exterior. Like many cinemas, it ceased showing films in the sixties (1964), and was converted into a bingo club. The bingo club eventually closed, and the building whilst still standing is in a very poor state of repair (see picture below).
Can you help us fill in more details about the Rotherham Coral Bingo Club? If you can then please contact us. We would love to hear from you if you can help us with these and any other details and interesting facts about this club.
