Welbeck Bingo is still under the same ownership, however, trade slowly died off and the venue is now currently (October 2013) undergoing a light refurbishment to be turned into a private events venue for live music, comedy, and family events. The venue is aiming for both corporate clients wishing to use the premises for meetings, as well as independent promoters and private bookings; birthdays, weddings, etc. (Information courtesy of D. 1. Hi was just curious if still open & who owned it now. My mum was a manager there for a long time when I grew up in the 70’s. My mum was the first female awarded the gaming board licence by Scotland yard. She was Patricia Hughes (Armstrong) if anyone remembers her.
