I was the Ass. Manager there 1969, 1970. Manager Varders Road 1970 to 1971. Manager Lewisham 1971 to 1972, returned as General Manager Wandsworth Road 1972 end 1974, and helped run Ms.World em. to Canada
Does anyone remember me, I now live in Toronto Canada
Started at Battersea Rise as an Assistant Manager 1969. Then on to Wandsworth Road. Many happy days and nights. A wonderful staff GREAT WORKERS. Originally I was an Assistant Manager with Pat Button from 1970 t0 1971. Pat taught me a great deal. Went on to Manage Vardens Road, then Lewisham, and eventually returning to Wandsworth Road, in 1972 as General Manager until the end 1974 when I emigrated to Canada ,Toronto. Worked the Miss World Contests. I still keep in touch with Peter Gauci, and Archie Taylor who were also Managers. Lost contact with Ray Lebaige. Hooked up with Pat Button on the Miss World Contest 1974. Pat Button was a really great person and an ex Ballroom and Latin Dance like me. I hope someone out there remembers me. Norman
