Date of closure: February 24th 2013
Address (for reference only):
Horden’s Carlton Bingo closed in February 2013 due to falling attendance. The smoking ban and the rise of online bingo have been blamed for the halls demise, which had seen player numbers fall to only 80 a week, making the business infeasible. The club had been going for 50 years, having been taken over by Carlton Bingo in the nineties from Fairworld.
