Another bingo hall has closed due to falling attendance, a result of the smoking ban say owners Top Ten. Located in the former Victoria Cinema, Top Ten took over the hall in 2001. Previously known as Barney’s Bingo, the site has been used for bingo since the 1960s. Unfortunately it’s the town’s last bingo hall, which will no doubt be a blow to the local community who have been marking their cards there for over three decades.
