At the moment we do not have details of the events that led up to, or any of the circumstances surrounding the closure of the Triple Crown Abertridwr. If you have any details that may assist us, and you would like to share them with our readers, we would love to hear from you. The photographs below have been kindly provide by Daniel Robertson, who took them while carrying out electrical maintenance work on the building. The interior is deceptively large when compared with the view of the exterior from the main road. The building would appear to be an old theatre that has been converted. Not many original features remain, although removal of the suspended ceiling may reveal some original plasterwork.
We are not sure exactly what will be done with the building, but it is quite likely that it could be transformed into an entertainment venue.
