Clifton Bingo in Clifton Moor area of York was originally opened as a cinema in 1937. With 1,150 seats, it continued to show films without change of ownership until 1964. It’s owners converted in into a bingo club, and it has been operating ever since.

    1. We don’t have a connection with the club other than featuring their details so you should give the club a call to see what they are doing.

      1. It’s been pretty good this last few weeks but this last Sunday a few people didn’t keep to the wearing of masks and some we’re a bit noisy and were asked to leave, there’s always someon e who wants to spoil it for the rest

    1. Hi Hazel, according to their twitter feed, they say: “We’re now open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 12 noon and every evening from 5pm. Just to let you know about some of the measures we have in place..” So not daily yet. Worth giving them a call first to check what requirements are in place for playing – you may need to book or something.
