Stockton-On-Tees Mecca Bingo is located in the premises of an old cinema and offers bingo players the opportunity to play bingo everyday, afternoon and evening, and it regularly runs promotions to give you better value for your money.

We are not sure of the building’s history, but as you can see from the picture below taken in the sixties, this was not originally a purpose built bingo club. The exterior grills are typical of Art Deco design which was a very common feature of 1930s cinema architecture. The cameos are quite unusual, an suggest that this may have been a bit of a ‘showcase’ cinema, perhaps for one of the larger chains such as Odeon.

There’s seating for 1600, and 150 EBingo terminals. There are two bars, and a cafe, and 220 car parking spaces. For disabled patrons there are 20 disabled seats, 4 disabled toilets, and disabled access. Please contact us if you can give us more information on this club’s background or history.

  1. Whoever was calling the link up games on Sunday afternoon 5 April, her voice is monotonous, sing-songy, and off-putting. Surely she can speak in a normal voice.
