  1. Some of the staff on book sales have got an attitude towards customers and the same people keep winning all the time and the prices on the books are high. I recommend Gala Leicester for the best staff and prices, also customers very friendly along with staff and manager.

  2. My wife and I always go to this club every Sunday night. Last night I walked away with a really bad taste in my mouth. I felt that I had been cheated. A couple on another table not far from me won 6 times and his partner won once. Both were using the Max machine. What are the odds on someone winning 6 times at bingo. These must be around the same odds at winning the National lottery. This is not sour grapes, a couple of my friends said that this guy had also won twice last week. I think that these max machine are ruining the game and my wife has said she does not want to play at Mecca Bingo because it too unfair. So can anybody tell me what are the odds of winning 6 times in one night.

  3. Sorry for the negative to follow, but my first visit was great, but staffing levels have gone down dramatically. Food really bad, ordered two ploughmans and cheese & red onion toastie, after 30 mins, we could not have ploughmans as there was no cheese! We looked confused as the lady walked away, because the toastie has cheese? She came back 5 mins later saying there was no bread, we asked for fish and chips, she said we have no fish! We had already paid, she got us some chips on the house. It’s getting worse now, we queue hoping to get in before the evening session starts, one person checking us in, queue is out the doors. Every week we still struggle to get the food we ask for, always ran out? Surely you should know the quantity of people you have as regulars? The bar area has one staff member serving a large queue. It must be stressful for them? I am new to bingo, but really shocked at the poor amount of staff to the amount of players, they are run off their feet and must be horrified to come and tell us theirs not the food we require.

  4. Sorry but once again, we ordered our food at 7-49pm just toasties!! Arrived 9pm as we don’t do the lates we were just about to leave?? its just getting worse, not enough staff, people who ordred well after us had their food?

  5. On Thursday, the main female caller I find quite terse, even aggressive to us customers, always seems to be an undertone of threat, indeed, she is way too loud at times (mic) far too close to the mouth. Every Thursday I leave with quite a severe headache, is it possible for her to be trained to be polite at all times, indeed, if a caller has a light voice (which all in the room can hear, she immediately takes a threatening attitude to them, demands they are louder, I’m sure this can be requested in a more polite approach. I rather hope so, my partner, I and some of our friends are looking elsewhere to play, after so many years attending Mecca Leicester.
