Chain: Deluxe Bingo

Deluxe Bingo was a small regional chain along England’s south coast, with clubs including Southend-on-Sea and Eastbourne, both since closed. Specific opening and closing dates for these two venues haven’t been confirmed, though they formed part of a wider south coast estate that also included a long-running club in Hastings.

The Hastings club is treated separately on this site, as it continues to operate today under different ownership — the Godden Gaming Organisation — rather than remaining part of the original Deluxe chain in any corporate sense. Southend-on-Sea and Eastbourne, by contrast, appear to have closed without passing to a new operator, bringing an end to Deluxe Bingo as an independent chain in those towns.
