Art lovers in Belfast are being treated to a game of Bingo in a conceptual artwork in a Belfast art gallery. A new installation by artists Deirdre McKenna and Cavan Fyans turns the gallery’s toilet cubicle into a one seat Bingo parlour.
“Bingo in the bathroom is not just a flash in the pan. It is an unusual piece of conceptual art, its creators say.
Just pick up your card, a pen and listen to the caller on the tannoy. You can do your numbers while you’re… doing your numbers.
Cards and pens are thoughtfully provided alongside the loo roll.”
There’s no mention of what the prize is if you win, but if you’re in Belfast, visit the Catalyst Arts Gallery, College Court to see the wonderous piece of art. Read More…
