Silk Bingo Review

If you love bingo, and you’re looking for a stylish sounding site to play at then you might be drawn to Silk Bingo. The name sounds chic and the stylish homepage does not disappoint the eye.

Originally part of the Dragonfish Network, Silk Bingo has gone through several changes and in January 2013 became part of the Gossip Bingo Network. For the average player, there is no difference and certainly the gameplay and interface, provided by 888Holdings, stays the same. It’s really only the promotional schedule and jackpots that vary.

Signing up for a new account is really simple, it’s exactly how it is on most bingo sites and takes just a few moments. What is worth noting though is that Silk Bingo offer some very generous sign up bonuses, so do check our bonus page to see what’s available when you sign up.

Once you are ready to play, just launch the lobby. From there you will see bingo rooms and mini-games available to play and there really is lots of selection. There are several bingo rooms available during our visit, four 90-ball rooms and four 75-ball rooms. The layout is user-friendly, making Silk Bingo really easy to navigate. Everything from buying bingo tickets to participating in chat and trying out the game options are all clear and easy to find. In the game lobby you will also see a selection of mini-games. These slots, casino games and instant wins can be played from the lobby, or in a pop-out window while your bingo game is in play.

In addition to the standard bingo, which is perfectly acceptable, if a little similar to many sites on the market, there are also regular promotions and free bingo offered at Silk Bingo. Now there are several promotions running during our visit, but we’ve come to expect a lot from online bingo and the promotions, and the free bingo games are a little sparse we feel.

That said, Silk Bingo does have a nice friendly feel, and an easy to play interface. Players are offered a generous welcome bonus and reload bonuses on every deposit. That combined with just £30 minimum cash out, and four times wagering requirement make it a fairly good bet in the world of bingo.
