Network: Microgaming (Now Closed) Online Bingo Network
In April of 2020 Microgaming announced it would be shuttering its Bingo network and software, and it closed down shortly after. Some sites moved to Pragmatic Play and others disappeared, but in its prime the following info describes what was on offer.
The Microgaming Network encompasses a number of online bingo brands all of which are powered by the BingoTek software (often known simply as the Microgaming software) and whilst Microgaming does poker and casino really well, the bingo side of things doesn’t quite live up to the expectations many have of the Microgaming software. It is the most recent addition to Microgaming and changes have been made since it first made and appearance (namely the addition of 90 ball bingo) but it still lags behind other more popular software.
It’s hard to define how the Microgaming Network works because in all honesty the sites on the network aren’t ones that we frequent but sites on the network do offer a unique game called the Ball For Life. This game sees jackpots increase for players who participate by selecting a Ball For Life (one bingo number) and then win on said number.
Sites on the Microgaming network were are all once licensed in Gibraltar however changes to the UK licensing in October 2014 saw some sites move to the UK. Sites are managed by various companies. One of the most prolific brands on the network is 32Red Bingo but this can be attributed to it being one of the most popular casino brands as well.
Microgaming network sites only offer two versions of the bingo game; 75 ball and 90 ball but as you would expect there are numerous instant win games and slots available including some with pretty impressive progressive jackpots on offer. Mega Moolah is probably the best known Microgaming casino game, with jackpots reaching their millions on a regular basis.
