Heaton Bingo is now located in Elim Pentecostal Church after what has be described as a very uncommon move. The bingo hall and the church swapped premises after both owners agreed that the swap would be a good idea as the church’s congregation was growing, whilst over the years numbers had fallen off at the bingo hall. The church did pay a sum of money for the swap for a larger venue.
The club used to be in the premises of what was originally the Temple Folly which opened in 1910. Since then the venue had been used for a variety of purposes including cinema, assembly hall, and dance hall. First opened for bingo as an independent, the club has previously gone under various names including Mayfair, and Riva Bingo.

Heaton Bingo is the best bingo hall in Newcastle and surrounding areas. All staff are fantastic, and the atmosphere is great, well done keep it up.
I have enjoyed going to this club since I was old enough to play bingo…which was a very very long time ago.
Hi could you tell me how I join please
What time evening Session starts
And price for today.
Hi Claire, best to call the club directly and check with them given the current situation, as things are not running as they normally would.
When are you opening?
How to become a member?
Usually just turn up at the club with some ID and they’ll make you a member there and then. Best to give them a call first though just to check what their process is, as it can differ from club to club.
Is this bingo still open thanks
I’m looking into it, not sure either way at the moment.
