Chain: Flutters Bingo (Lost Halls)
Flutters Bingo is a small English chain that has seen its estate shrink over the years, with Hinckley among the clubs to have closed. At its largest, the chain is understood to have run as many as four clubs, a number that has fallen to just two still trading today.
As with many independent chains, Flutters’ closures reflect the wider pressures facing smaller bingo operators — rising costs, shrinking footfall, and the ongoing redevelopment pressure on the large, older buildings many bingo halls occupy. The chain’s remaining clubs continue to trade on a traditional, community-focused model, making the closures a departure from an otherwise long-running and stable small chain rather than a sign of the business winding down entirely.
