Exeter Mecca Bingo offers bingo players the opportunity to play bingo everyday, afternoon and evening, and it regularly runs promotions to give you better value for your money.

The club is situated in the premises of an old cinema, the Gaumont Palace. The Palace opened in 1932,with seating for almost 1,500, and a lot of lavish decor, including a ceiling dome, and painted panels. Unfortunately some of the features were damaged during the war, and were not restored. In 1963 it showed its last film, and was taken over as a Top Rank Bingo Club. Although many of the original features were lost, at least what is left of the building is now protected by a ‘listing’.

There’s seating for 1089, and 44 EBingo terminals. There is one bar, a cafe, and 17 car parking spaces. For disabled patrons there are 8 disabled seats, 1 disabled toilets, and there is a chairlift for wheelchair access. Please contact us if you can give us more information on this club’s background or history.

  1. Why, when the club was very, very busy was the prize money so low for many of the games compared to Gala Bingo?. £30 Mecca, £100 Gala full house.
