Harry Styles Bingo Caller

Bingo Caller
Harry Styles

We all know Harry Styles, member of One Direction, multi-million selling artist, songwriter and actor extraordinaire. He must be one of the most-known men on the planet, and it’s rare for him to be able to go anywhere without being hounded by the paparazzi.

He is also very good friends with Nick Grimshaw, the breakfast DJ from BBC Radio 1. Nick decided Harry needed to get away from the limelight for a while, so took him on a trip to meet some very special people.

Dotty Bingo Take To Social Media

Thursday, Aug. 17th 2017 7:01 AM

In a very competitive market, online bingo sites have to try many different marketing sources and for Dotty Bingo, their recent dalliance has been with social media. A recent scout around YouTube for all things bingo related revealed what we thought was a commercial for the brand. However, on contacting Broadway Gaming, the company who owns Dotty Bingo, it was revealed that it is in fact a viral campaign.

The advert, which can be seen further on in this article, is 30 seconds long and tells the story of Dotty the dot and his colourful history. It tells of his beginnings and how, despite many changes over the years, his love of bingo remains as passionate as ever.

Thursday, Sep. 26th 2013 7:30 AM

If you love a viral video then the chances are you, like nearly 54 million others, will have watched the Ylvis, The Fox video. The music video features an array of animals at a house party and the lyrics talk of the various sounds animals make. ‘Dog goes woof, cat goes meow’, you get the picture. As the song continues we reach the chorus and the question is posed ‘What does the fox say?’.

The video is the brain child of a comedy duo from Bergen in Norway, two brothers Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker and it went viral this month having been released on September 3rd.

Bingo Brainstorm

Friday, Jul. 19th 2013 7:15 AM

Do you ever stumble across an online bingo site and think ‘where on earth did they get their name?’ Yes, us too, quite often! We understand that it’s a busy marketplace and it must be difficult to come up with new, unique names, but all the same, some of the names out there leave us scratching our heads. It’s ok for some sites, established brands such as Ladbrokes Bingo were never going to called anything else, while other brands are affiliated with famous names and then take those names on themselves, Iceland Bingo would be the perfect example of that.

With this in mind, we had quite a giggle today when we stumbled across this You Tube video by Jake Yapp, we started sniggering and it soon turned into a big belly laugh. He plays a bingo manager, trying to come up with a name and theme for a new bingo site. We won’t spoil it for you, but it’s definitely worth a watch!

Clucky Bingo YouTube Virals

Saturday, Jun. 8th 2013 7:31 AM

When it comes to advertising a new bingo site many of the brands that we see launch online today simply don’t have the marketing budget of big name brands like Foxy Bingo. However, whilst the budget may not be huge, a little bit of ingenuity can go a long way as Clucky Bingo have proved. This brand is the tenth to launch on the 15 Network using the Jumpman Gaming software and opened just a few days ago.

Currently Clucky Bingo have two TV advert ideas doing the rounds on YouTube and surprisingly enough, both feature chickens! Both show a wicked sense of humour with the management team of the brand with the first chicken dancing along to a tune synonymous with the circus and holding up a chalk board with the web address on for the brand.

Foxy Gets Rugby Players On Board

Wednesday, May. 29th 2013 7:22 AM

When it comes to advertising an online bingo brand Foxy is probably one of the most prolific with commercials that stick in the viewers minds raising brand awareness. A recent scout around YouTube revealed that the loveable mascot of the brand is using rugby players to attract more players through their virtual doors.

The clip we uncovered from Foxy Bingo starts with the mascot asking if you ‘get confused when you visit a bingo site?’. He then goes on to introduce Cristo (the Foxy Radio DJ) who is talking to some of your ‘fave players’ to explain how online bingo works with Foxy.

Spice Bingo Go Viral

Monday, Mar. 11th 2013 12:21 PM

Just a couple of days ago we bought our readers news of the impending launch of a brand new bingo site called Spice Bingo and already the site has launched a You Tube video selling their wares. Sadly though, whilst it is great to think outside of the box and make players aware of your brand name, we think it good practice to actually check the spelling on your video before making it available to the public.

Are we being pedants? Maybe a little but spelling is important and for a new product it is all about the first impression. Admittedly the advert only contains one spelling mistake that we can spot but can you see anymore?

Mecca Bingo Harlem Shake

Saturday, Mar. 2nd 2013 7:28 AM

If you have teenage children then the chances are you will know what the Harlem Shake is. It is an Internet meme that went viral only last month with literally thousands of videos being made and uploaded to YouTube. Yesterday we found one that featured the staff at Mecca Bingo, Southend and it definitely gave us a giggle!

The concept for the Harlem Shake meme is that each video lasts between 30 and 32 seconds long and feature a short excerpt of the song of the same name by Baauer. The clips will usually start with something usual happening, in this case a game at Mecca Bingo, with the song clip playing. One person, usually wearing a helmet or mask, will then dance alone for approximately 15 seconds with the other people in the clip carrying on as usual paying no attention to the dancer.
