Free Play Bonuses All But Finished

No Free Play Bonus

Free Play
Bonuses Lost

We’ve been in the online bingo business for quite a number of years now and in that time have seen many changes to the bonus structure of welcome packages at various sites. We remember when the first free play bonus was introduced and how once one site had offered a no deposit required bonus, many others followed suit.

This type of bonus became an expectation by players for a while and then slowly, we saw the number of sites offering this sort of bonus reduce. However, there has always been a substantial number of brands offering a no deposit required bonus, that was until the introduction of the new tax on free play bonuses introduced in August 2017.

New Look Iceland Bingo

Saturday, Nov. 25th 2017 4:36 AM

Has your mum been to Iceland Bingo recently? If she has then is no doubt still raving about their new look. Their old site and its orange colour scheme was starting to look a tad dated, but we are glad to say that is now a thing of the past, and it has been replaced with a more modern design that is pleasing to the eye.

The new Iceland Bingo homepage is bright and welcoming, and everything you could possible need is just a mouse click away. The cartoon style graphics have gone, in favour of bold blocks of colour detailing their latest games and promotions along with an impressive welcome offer. They have even done away with the old logo, and in its place, you’ll find a curvier and more stylish proposition.

Is The 15 Networks Wheel Really That Mega?

Monday, Oct. 16th 2017 4:12 AM

15 Network

15 Network
Mega Wheel

The 15 Network has been around a while now, and until recently, if you registered for an account at any of their sites, not only would you earn yourself an impressive 200% first deposit bonus, but you would also be invited to take a spin on their bonus wheel for the chance to win up to an extra £2,500 and everyone was guaranteed to be a winner.

Their first deposit bonus has now been abolished entirely and the Bonus Wheel has now been replaced with a Mega Wheel, so we thought we should look and see just how Mega it is. Sadly, we can’t say that we are impressed, this new wheel is a shadow of its former self and the prizes up for grabs are not very good at all.

Johnny Vegas Joins Costa Bingo

Monday, Jun. 13th 2016 7:49 AM

If you are a Costa Bingo player then you will already know about Sunny, the bright smiley character that is the face of the brand. You will find that he has a new voice now, and one that you might recognise because it’s none other than the well-known comedian Johnny Vegas. It is not yet known if he is going to front the site and feature in their promotions in the same way that Spice Girl Mel B did in the past, but we are looking forward to seeing what they have planned.

Johnny’s first foray into the world of online bingo comes in the shape of two eleven second adverts. The first of these sees a sunglasses-clad Sunny cheekily asking if you fancy some fun for free before being wolf whistled by someone just out of shot. He calls them a cheeky thing before going on to tell you (the viewer) that you can play for free and win real cash!

Step Aside Winneroo Bingo, Make Room For Bingorella!

Thursday, Mar. 31st 2016 7:34 AM

Winneroo Bingo was one of many Dragonfish brands available online, that was until yesterday when the site rebranded! It was first opened to players in May 2014 and welcomed the newbies with £5 free, no deposit required. The new site is called Bingorella and like it’s predecessor, the site has a free play bonus on offer to all who register and included their financial details.

But what of the new site design? Have their been substantial changes to the overall aesthetics of the brand and more importantly, who or what is Bingorella? A visit to the site reveals the answer to both questions, the first being that yes, the changes in design are quite noticeable.

Roll Up, Roll Up For Circus Bingo

Tuesday, Sep. 8th 2015 7:17 AM

Circus Bingo opened to players a couple of months ago and when we reviewed the site, we were impressed with the fact that it is a Dragonfish brand but not as you might expect. You don’t land at the site and instantly know that it is part of the well-known network, in fact it is only apparent when you hit the 90 ball or 75 ball tabs from the main lobby. The whole feel of the site is fresh and exciting with nothing “standard” about it.

Today we’re going to look at some of the promotions at Circus Bingo and we’re really impressed with the exclusives that making this brand stand out from the usual Dragonfish sites. From design to promotions, it’s clear that this brand wants to make an impression – and we think it succeeds.

Two New Bingo Sites From 8 Ball Games

Tuesday, Jul. 22nd 2014 7:30 AM

Over the last few weeks we have seen a number of new bingo sites open their virtual doors to players despite the Point of Consumption tax being a concern for some operators. 8 Ball Games have quite a portfolio of sites on the Internet already and many of these are Dragonfish brands, either sites they have launched themselves or brands that they have purchased from others.

The two newest sites to join the ranks of the 8 Ball Games bingo offerings are High Life Bingo and Once Upon a Bingo, two pretty naffly named brands in our opinion. Each has an apt design for the brand name on their home page but that said, Once Upon A Bingo really looks a little childlike in design and not really suitable for an Internet bingo brand.
