Silk Bingo Reduce Wagering Requirements

Silk Bingo is one of those brands that we don’t visit very often but in one of our bonus checks recently, we had cause to check out all that they had to offer. Upon landing at the site, it was clear to see that the virtual painters and decorators had been in! The logo has changed, and the overall aesthetics of the site had improved.

It was then that we noted the cash match bonus on first deposit had been reduced significantly. Further investigation revealed that the wagering requirements have been reduced too so what might, at first glance, look like a negative thing, actually has some positive connotations too at Silk Bingo.

Silk Bingo Gets A New Look

Silk Bingo was actually acquired by the United Bingo group months ago but it was only recently that the transfer of ownership was finally complete. We were recently informed that we should no longer promote the brand via the old affiliate scheme and a new look and feel to the site was imminent. Finally, the new look is here but sadly the new owners have yet to give sites like ours the option to promote the new brand through an affiliate scheme.

The new look site is definitely an improvement and Silk Bingo has moved away from the main Dragonfish network. However, the brand is still part of a network – it’s the Gossip Bingo Network which includes Bingo Giving, Gossip Bingo and Diva Bingo (although the home page has branded it as the Silk Bingo Network).

Silk Bingo Purchased By United Bingo

Silk Bingo is one of many brands on the Dragonfish Network and was previously managed by the Platinum Affiliates however the brand was recently sold to the people who run United Bingo. A check into the affiliate side of things revealed that Silk Bingo is no longer available through the Platinum Affiliates program but as yet, still not available through the United Bingo affiliate scheme which begs the question from affiliates, is the traffic we are sending to the brand earning us any money?

Whilst all of the affiliate links are still working correctly and directing traffic to the correct brand, how do we get banners, check earnings or interact with the owners of the brand? Had we not been in the know, would anyone have bothered to explain the situation to us as affiliates for Silk Bingo?
